Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center is proud to announce this year’s National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW)!

What is National Skilled Nursing Care Week?

National Skilled Nursing Care Week dates back to 1967, when the American Health Care Association (AHCA) facilitated its establishment. Since then, each year America recognizes the week that begins with Mother’s Day as a time to reflect on the role of skilled nursing care centers across our states.

This Year’s Theme

NSNCW generally revolves around a central theme. This year’s theme is Celebrating Life’s Stories. By promoting residents and staff to talk and listen to the significant events that have made us they we are, we hope to create “a shared sense of purpose in our centers and within the surrounding communities.”
