Family Fun Day At Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center

At Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center in Blackwood, preparations are in full swing for Family Fun Day, a free fun-for-all-ages carnival open to the entire community. The event will take place on Sunday September 10th at Elmwood Hills from 12:00 noon to 4:00 PM.

Some highlights of the Elmwood Hills Family Fun Day will include a petting zoo; pony rides; bouncy castle; dunk tank; carnival games; face painting; live music; and a balloonist. Participants will enjoy an array of food and snacks ranging from hot dogs and ice cold drinks to fresh popcorn and cotton candy.

The staff at Elmwood Hills has expended much effort in planning an organized and well-coordinated event that everyone will enjoy. “We’ve reached out to the Gloucester Township Mayor’s Office and the Gloucester Township Police Public Relations Department,” says Mr. Shaya Rotberg, who serves as administrator of the 350-bed facility. “Our goal is to connect with and give back to the broader community that we service by providing everyone with a great day of family fun and enjoyment.”

The administration at Elmwood Hills views the carnival as an extra-curricular extension of their broader mission of promoting health and overall well-being. “Good healthy fun is an important component of everyone’s balanced lifestyle,” says Mr. Rotberg. “That’s what the Family Fun Day is all about.”
